Professionals recommend cleaning makeup brushes once a week to prevent the build-up of bacteria within the brush heads. The STYLPRO is great for replenishing brushes between clients as an MUA or when using the same tool for multiple areas.

You do not have to use the STYLPRO Cleanser, but we highly recommend it for best results. We designed the STYLPRO Vegan Makeup Brush Cleanser to work in specific conjunction with the STYLPRO, to permeate through oily foundation and thick makeup with the power of centrifugal technology and our effective cleansing ingredients. You can use liquid soap and water to remove soluble makeup (e.g powders, bronzer, blusher etc), but when removing oil-based makeup such as foundation and lipstick, a cleanser is required. When using the STYLPRO Vegan Makeup Brush Cleanser, do NOT mix with water.

When wanting to remove powder-based makeup you can use a small pump of liquid soap and a small amount of water in the STYLPRO Bowl, as your cleansing solution. Do not use large amounts of soap as this will cause the solution to froth-over the bowl when the brushes are spinning. Do not submerge the ferrules into the cleansing solution when cleaning, as this may damage brushes.

We recommend using an anti-bacterial handwash.

Absolutely! The STYLPRO device and Vegan Makeup Brush Cleanser work together to remove the oiliest of foundation from deep within brush heads. Depending on how dirty the brush is, you may have to clean it more than once, but this will still only take a few minutes! Do not mix the STYLPRO Cleanser with water.

We have tested the STYLPRO with a huge range of brushes and most brush types will fit into the collars. There are 8 silicone collars which have been especially designed to hold any brush handle which is between 3/16 inch (5mm) and 1 ¼ inch (30mm) in diameter. The STYLPRO cannot hold flat handle, oval or double ended brushes.

Yes, the STYLPRO works with a range of natural and man-made brushes. Please note we do recommend natural brushes are only spun dry for 3-5 seconds as the hairs are more delicate and susceptible to misshaping.

We have tested an extensive range of brushes 500 times, to measure the impact of centrifugal technology on brush heads and we saw little to no effect of the cleaning process on the brushes. Please note that when cleaning natural brushes, fibres are more delicate, to only spin for 3-5 seconds at a time.

The STYLPRO device can only clean one brush at a time- but each one takes seconds to clean and dry, so you can fly through your whole tool kit in no time!

The STYLPRO cleanser contains Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil, Triticum Vulgare (Wheat) Germ Oil and Argania Spinosa (Argan) Kernel Oil. The STYLPRO Cleanser is Paraben free, alcohol free, sulphate free and Registered by the Vegan society.

No, the STYLPRO Cleanser should not be mixed with water. It is designed to cut through oil-based makeup on its own for the best results.

We recommend using one capful (10ml) of STYLPRO Makeup Brush Cleanser to the STYLPRO bowl. Please ensure you submerge the entire brush into the cleanser during the first stage of cleaning. For best results try tipping the bowl on its side.

If you are using the STYLPRO to clean makeup brushes that will only be used on your face, then you do not need to change the cleanser after each brush has been cleaned. You can clean up to 5 of your own brushes in the same cleanser solution. If you are a makeup professional or your brushes will be used on someone else’s face, then we would recommend you change the cleanser after each brush has been cleaned.

No, your brushes will not need rinsing after cleaning. The spinning action of the STYLPRO permeates through bristles to remove all traces of makeup embedded within. Our STYLPRO cleanser is also a conditioner, the unique formula is infused with nourishing Wheatgerm, Grapeseed and Argan oils which will gently condition the brushes- leaving the bristles smooth and protected.
