If you don’t know who Tom Pellereau is, he won The Apprentice in 2011, I always found myself rooting for him! Tom saw himself as an inventor and I have to say he is a fantastic inventor as he created this little beauty! I popped into my local Sainsbury’s the other day to buy some butter but some how became sidetracked and then found myself buying this product. I’d heard about them long before but never actually stumbled across one.
On the packaging it claims that ‘the S-file follows the curve of the nail, making filing quick and easy’. This is actually a true statement in my opinion, I’m not a fan of filing my nails really as I don’t think I do it properly by some of the looks I’ve had from my friends. However, with this product I found myself achieving great looking nails very easily, even when using my non-dominant hand.
You simply file from the edge of your nail to the centre and the S-file follows your nail shape. It is that simple! The nail file has two parts to it, one surface to shape the nail and the other to smooth the nail. The nail file claims to last up to 12 months so we will see how that turns out.
You can visit the stylfile to buy the nail file which costs £4.49, however I bought mine from Sainsbury’s for the same price. I think it’s a fair price if it lasts as long as Tom claims. There are two other products in the range, the emergency file and the S-buffer. The emergency file attaches to your keys which is pretty handy for any nail emergencies.
You can find Tom on twitter if you want to follow him if you’re a little fan like me
